Review systems for configuration and compliance with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).

OTHER DUTIES: Additional duties may be assigned to support contract/mission support requirements in job-related areas.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Position requires a Security+ or higher DoD 8570 directed certification or the ability to obtain one in six months. A two year degree or higher in a related field is desired. Incumbent must have demonstrated experience in DoD certification and accreditation frameworks and processes and IA principles and practices. Demonstrated experience in some or all of the following is desired: Assisting in obtaining and managing security certification and accreditation of systems and/or networks; Assisting in the review, application, and maintenance of information assurance policies; Review and maintenance of certification plans and accreditation documentation; Performing security, analyses and risk/vulnerability assessments; Conducting security tests and evaluations.
