Northwest Florida State College to Host Computer Tech 2018

NICEVILLE, FL– Northwest Florida State College will host “Computer Tech 2018” on Saturday, January 27, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Student Services Center on the Niceville campus. The event, offered through the Personal Enrichment program of the college’s Continuing Education Department, is free and open to the public. The theme for Computer Tech 2018 is “Learn It.”
Computer Tech 2018, now in its twelfth year, brings together IT users and computer enthusiasts, from novice to expert, to learn about the latest technology and how to use different computer software programs and hardware devices. The event features 45 workshops on a variety of Microsoft, Apple, Linux computer and nontechnology topics. The highlight for Computer Tech 2018 is a review of new technology introduced in 2017.
Carl Lofstrom, President Northwest Florida Association of Computer Users Groups and President of the South Walton Computer and Technology Club, will deliver the keynote address at 8:00 a.m. titled “Learning How to Learn It.”
