NWF State College Recognizes Law Enforcement Academy Graduates

NICEVILLE, FL– On April 30, Northwest Florida State College recognized students who successfully completed the Criminal Justice Training Center’s vocational certificate program for Law Enforcement Officer Basic.

The Law Enforcement Academy at NWF State College is an intense, 801-hour program that provides students with instruction in a comprehensive curriculum mandated by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.  This certificate is designed to provide initial training to individuals wishing to enter the law enforcement career field and serves as a prerequisite for the Florida State Officer Certification Exam (SOCE).

“We are delighted that our Public Safety program continues to produce quality, employable graduates,” said Dr. Devin Stephenson, President.  “NWF State College constantly strives to provide our students with successful pathways that both strengthen our local workforce while helping to improve their lives.”
