NWF State College Implements Feed-A-Raider Initiative

NICEVILLE, FL– In an effort to provide students with the necessary resources to be successful while attending NWF State College, the Feed-A-Raider food pantry initiative was created to address the issue of food shortages faced by many college students.
Founded last month, the Feed-A-Raider food pantry is a campus-wide food pantry initiative spearheaded by the Northwest Florida State College Student Government Association. Feed-A-Raider was created to address food insecurity by providing supplemental food to students in need, as well as education and resources to students related to purchasing and preparing balanced food on a budget.
The Food Pantry is now open, and able to provide services to currently enrolled students. NWF State is now accepting non-perishable food donations and personal care items.
