Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra Presents Annual Holiday Pops Concert to Sold Out Audience

NICEVILLE, FL – The sounds of the holiday season filled the air of the Mattie Kelly Arts Center on Friday, December 7, as the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra (NFSO) performed at their Annual Holiday Pops concert.

The event kicked off with a special piano performance by NWF State College President Dr. Devin Stephenson.

“This is always my favorite symphony event of the year,” said Dr. Devin Stephenson, president. “I was honored to share the stage with our community’s talented musicians as we performed for hundreds of our closest friends.”

Joined by the NWF State College Belle Voci, Madrgial Singers, Dance Ensemble and the Northwest Florida Symphony Chorale, the NFSO performed seasonal favorites including The Nutcracker, Handel’s Messiah and music from John Williams featured in the movie Home Alone.

“Thanks to everyone who joined us for Holiday Pops!” said Devin Patrick Hughes, NFSO Conductor. “We greatly enjoyed playing for a sold out audience, and look forward to continually serving our community with interactive, innovative symphonic concerts.”
