Symphony of Taste Food & Wine Festival to benefit Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra & Youth Programs

NICEVILLE, FL– The Northwest Florida Symphony Guild will host the 28th Annual Symphony of Taste Food & Wine Festival to benefit the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra and its youth music education programs on Sunday, February 24, 2019. The event will take place in the Student Services Center, building 400, at Northwest Florida State College’s Niceville campus.
The event will feature food from numerous area restaurants, fine wines, craft beer and a silent auction. Participating restaurants include One 20-A Modern Bistro, Half Shell Oyster House, Toast Wine Bar, Magnolia Grill, Peppers Mexican Cantina and many more.
“This event is instrumental in supporting the Symphony’s youth programs,” said Dr. Devin Stephenson, President. “Northwest Florida State College is proud to provide art and music programs in our community, and we hope you will join us at Symphony of Taste to support quality, innovative music education outreach for youth in Northwest Florida.”

The Symphony of Taste Food & Wine Festival serves as the Symphony Guild’s most significant annual fundraiser. Proceeds from the event provide underwriting for the professional Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra as well as funding for the Northwest Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Junior Orchestra, the NFSO’s annual performances for all 5th grade students in Okaloosa and Walton Counties, a prestigious annual Concerto Competition for young musicians, the NFSO’s Stars of Tomorrow Concerts, music scholarships and more.
