NOTIFICATION: Northwest Florida State College to Offer Extended Virtual Service Hours through May 5

NICEVILLE, FL – Although Northwest Florida State College is closed for in-person services for the remainder of the spring semester in response to the COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic, the institution is offering extended operating hours via phone and online chat to meet the needs of our students.

General inquiries can be made by calling (850) 678-5111 during our extended hours, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday – Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Fridays.

Raider Central Student Success Navigators are available to assist with questions about admissions, registration, financial aid and academic advising via phone, internet chat and live video chat. You may schedule a Zoom appointment by calling (850) 502-2895, or live chatting during our extended hours, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday – Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Fridays.

The Learning Commons comprises the Academic Success Center and Library staff. The Learning Commons will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and library staff will be available 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Learning Commons virtual tutoring appointments are also available to students on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Smarthinking and Submit-a-Paper is available 24/7.

NWFSC’s Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL) staff provides students with instructional, technical and accommodations support from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday – Friday. Blackboard support is also available 24/7 for students. Visit online.nwfsc.edu to submit a request for support.

To reach the Business Office, please call (850) 729-5368 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. The Purchasing Office can be reached by calling (850) 729-5361 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday.

IT Support for assistance regarding RaiderNet, College email, Zoom support, Office 365 programs etc., can be accessed from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday – Friday. The preferred method to contact IT support is through the ticket system, either at support.nwfsc.edu or by emailing [email protected] if you are having difficulty logging into RaiderNet. IT Support can also be reached by calling (850) 729-5396.

NWFSC faculty and staff are working diligently to ensure uninterrupted operations and high-quality virtual services for our students and the broader community.

College administration continues to work directly with the Department of Health, the Florida Department of Education, and other appropriate state government agencies regarding COVID-19/Coronavirus and will continue to monitor this rapidly evolving situation.
