NWF State College recognizes Corrections Academy graduates

On March 5, Northwest Florida State College recognized students who successfully completed the Criminal Justice Training Center’s vocational certificate program for Corrections Basic Training.
The Corrections Academy at NWF State College is an intense, 420-hour program that provides students with instruction in a comprehensive curriculum mandated by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Graduates of this program are now eligible to take the State Officer Certification Exam.
“We are delighted over the quality graduates our Public Safety program continues to produce,” said Dr. Devin Stephenson, President. “One of our paramount missions at NWF State College is to provide our students with successful pathways to achieve great things and continue to enhance the workforce of our region.”
