NWF State College Offering Priority to Current Students for Selective Admissions Programs

NICEVILLE, FL – Northwest Florida State College now offers priority entry to selective admissions programs to students who complete general education classes at the college.
“Our general education courses give students the foundational knowledge and skills that are required to succeed in our higher level courses,” says Dr. Devin Stephenson, President. “Not only will students be prepared for the rigor in the courses, but they will also benefit from the points they earn to enhance their chances in entering our selective admissions programs.”
The point system varies depending on the program. The programs using the point system include:
On average, maximum priority points represents approximately 8 percent of the total possible admission points.
Active duty military and honorably discharged veterans will receive an additional five points. Proof of military service via DD Form 22, 22a, 256, 214 or 215 is required.
