Bid Contact Information

The College officially advertises solicitation documents, addenda, and communications through BidNet Direct’s Florida Purchasing Group. BidNet provides a way for local government agencies across Florida to notify suppliers of solicitation opportunities more effectively. Suppliers must register with BidNet to access and download the College’s solicitation documents. Access to the College’s BidNet site is free. Please click here to register for an account and access the College’s active solicitations.

Bids will only be accepted by the College as outlined in the solicitations. Vendors must review all terms and conditions contained within each solicitation packet thoroughly. Current solicitation documents will be posted on BidNet only. It is the responsibility of each potential supplier to monitor the BidNet website regularly for opportunities and to review changes, addenda, and communications to solicitations. Feel free to contact BidNet’s Vendor Support if you need assistance registering or using the Platform: (800) 835-4603.

The Director of Purchasing is the only point of contact for formal sealed solicitations. Under no circumstances may a bidder contact any College trustee, employee, or other representative concerning solicitations until after award. Any such contact may result in disqualification.

Procedures for Protesting a Bid

All protests shall be filed in accordance with Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, and the College’s purchasing policies and procedures. Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, or failure to post the bond or other security required by law within the time allowed for filing a bond shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under Chapter 120, Florida Statutes. Protestors are required to post a bond in an amount equal to 1 percent of the estimated contract amount per Florida Statutes § 287.042(2)(c) or, as applicable to the solicitation, equal to 5% of the accepted bid per Florida Statutes § 255.0516. The College will follow the statutory procedures for the resolution of protests arising from the contracting process. It’s the responsibility of the protestor to know and follow all procedures according to Florida Statutes.
