The A.S. degree in Design and Digital Marketing is a new degree offering at Northwest Florida State College. This degree is designed to provide the foundation of skills and abilities necessary for employment in the wide range of career fields that support marketing and visual communication for businesses, institutions, and industries. Graphic designers produce photography, illustrations, typography, web design, and videography for all types of marketing, advertising, and informational communications in print and online.

The Design and Digital Marketing A.S. degree includes coursework in a broad range of categories. These categories include: foundations courses in art and design, core courses related to industry standard graphic design software, and additional courses in photography, web design, marketing, and business. Students may also complete a college credit certificate in Graphic Design Production. The Graphic Design Production certificate is a program focused on the core skills of the degree program, and is a great choice for students looking to acquire cutting edge capabilities to enhance their career paths in a shorter duration program.

The coursework in these programs can greatly enhance the skill set of anyone, including those pursuing career fields outside of graphic design and digital marketing. Visual and digital communications skills are becoming central to our daily lives, and they will enhance any resume.
