This program provides the graduate with instruction in health/wellness, first aid, strength training, outdoor recreation, and physical education. Completion of this degree will prepare the student to meet the demands and develop the knowledge required to maintain a healthy lifestyle and gain a basic understanding of the sport/recreation industry. Candidates considering this program should be interested in pursuing a career in a sport/recreation field. Upon completion of this degree, students will have a well-rounded look at what goes on behind the scenes in different aspects of the sports/fitness/recreation industries.
