What is the SLS 1101 College Success Course?

College Success (SLS 1101) is a 3-credit hour elective course offered to help students make a smooth transition to college life. In this course, students will learn to:
  • Expand habits for success while building a solid foundation for continued academic and professional development and achievement.
  • Exercise critical thinking skills to capture long-term learning and
  • Enhance communication skills and refine your ability to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively.
  • Gain practical finance tips and tools to not only navigate college expenses but also to plan, prepare and budget wisely for the future.
