Welcome to Dual Enrollment at NWFSC!

The Resources and Links on this page are specifically for students in grades 6-8.

Dual Enrollment at NWFSC is open to students grades 6-12 who meet the eligibility criteria.  Students who dual enroll are making the decision to begin their college experience early.  Dual Enrollment grades are placed on both the high school and college transcripts, so all grades matter.

When deciding if Dual Enrollment is right for you, young learners might seek answers to the following questions:

  • Will I be able to handle college courses in addition to my course load at my middle school?
  • What courses should I take?
  • What credit will I be awarded by my school district?
  • Do I understand that the rigor of college-level courses may differ from the coursework I am currently taking?
  • Do the courses I plan to take align with my future major?
  • Will these credits transfer to my desired college?
  • Do I have a plan of action in the event I am struggling with a course?
  • Am I ready to advocate for myself with my instructors and other college staff?
