Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC) and Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) have partnered to create a clear and supportive pathway for students in Okaloosa and Walton Counties who are passionate about a career in pharmacy!
This agreement allows students to start their journey at NWFSC and seamlessly transition into FAMU’s Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program at the Durell Peaden Jr. Rural Pharmacy Education Campus in Crestview.

- A Smooth Transfer Pathway – Begin your studies at NWFSC with structured coursework designed to prepare you for FAMU’s PharmD program.
- Guaranteed Interview Opportunity – Students who complete the A.A. – Pre-Pharmacy Track at NWFSC, meet all prerequisite coursework, and maintain a minimum 2.75 cumulative and science GPA will receive a guaranteed standardized interview for admission. Final selection will be determined by FAMU’s College of Pharmacy Admissions Committee.
- Reserved Seats – At least eight seats in the FAMU PharmD program will be held for NWFSC students until the admissions deadline.
- Housing Options – Students enrolled in the FAMU PharmD program can lease housing in Raider Village on NWFSC’s Niceville campus, providing a convenient and comfortable living experience.
