Dr. Jon Ward is a Board Certified Dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon who founded and Chairs the Board of Dermatology Solutions Group, a privately held medical clinic operating in 4 states with nearly 300 employees. He has held multiple leadership positions within the Florida Medical Association and the Emerald Coast Medical Association. He is Clinical Assistant Professor at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine and participates in teaching medical students. In addition to his extensive educational activities and professional leadership, Dr. Ward has most recently led a group of investors in purchasing a failed hospital in Walton County and is in the process of licensing and developing a 35 acre healthcare campus to serve the healthcare needs of his community. Dr. Ward is a lifelong resident of Walton County and has three children attending the Seaside Neighborhood School and Seacoast Collegiate High School. His wife Misty serves on the Board of Directors for the North Walton Healthcare Campus and they met at the University of Florida while both were pursuing the medical degrees. Dr. Ward also coaches baseball and through youth athletics serves as a mentor to to the communities young athletes. Dr. Ward also brings a wealth of knowledge in navigating the political climate in Tallahassee and is well known to elected officials making policy for education and healthcare decisions in the legislature.
