Outgoing Transcript Requests From NWF State College
Your official Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC) transcript is bound by the Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA). As such, we require student approval prior to releasing a student’s official transcript. Transcripts will not be released if the student has an outstanding financial obligation to the College, an incomplete admissions file, or a Records hold on his or her account. Students have access to an unofficial copy of their transcript via RaiderNet.
GED TRANSCRIPTS
NOTE: NWFSC is not the entity of record for GED transcripts earned by NWFSC students. Each state’s Department of Education maintains its own GED transcripts. Students that received their GED in the state of Florida can obtain their GED transcript by contacting the Florida Department of Education via the FDOE website or by calling (888) 906-4031.
HOW TO REQUEST TRANSCRIPTS
Students have two options for requesting a transcript, depending on whether the receiving institution – 1) is a Florida public institution or entity that participates in the F.A.S.T.E.R. system OR 2) a private institution, out-of-state institution, or the transcript is for individual use. If a student is unsure whether the receiving institution and/or entity participates in F.A.S.T.E.R., please contact Student Success at [email protected] or 850-502-2895.
F.A.S.T.E.R Participants
The Florida Automated System for Transferring Education Records (F.A.S.T.E.R) allows exchanging transcript information electronically with other participating educational institutions. There is no fee for sending official transcripts to an institution and/or entity participating in the F.A.S.T.E.R. system. Students MUST request that their transcript be sent via the F.A.S.T.E.R. TRANSCRIPT REQUEST below to have the transcript fee waived. Once the request is processed by NWFSC, it may take an additional five (5) to (10) business days for the receiving institution to receive the official transcript via F.A.S.T.E.R. (it may take longer depending on whether error occurs during sending/receiving of the electronic data exchange). It is highly recommended that the student follow-up with the receiving institution and/or entity to confirm that the data exchange was successful. Students who mistakenly submit a request via Parchment using the “Order Your NWFSC Official Transcript” PARCHMENT (Non-F.A.S.T.E.R. Recipients) link below will be charged the non-refundable transcript fee.

All Other Transcript Recipients (Non-F.A.S.T.E.R. Recipients)
There is a fee for sending official transcripts to an institution and/or entity that does not participate in F.A.S.T.E.R. NWFSC has appointed Parchment as the designated agent for processing these requests. Parchment provides students with the option to send transcripts electronically as a certified PDF or as a hard-copy paper transcript. The PDF transcript contains the identical information as the paper transcript.
Parchment creates a separate transcript for each level of coursework (ex. one for Undergraduate and one for Vocational) and will display the course(s), grade(s), and cumulative GPA associated with that level. If a student has taken courses at more than one level, the student will need to order all transcripts by choosing the “Select All” option within the Parchment request portal.

Foreign Transcripts
Transcripts from foreign institutions must be evaluated by World Education Services (WES), Josef Silney & Associates, or any current NACES member (www.naces.org/members.htm). It is the responsibility of the student to bear all associated costs and fees. NWF State College will determine transferable credits. If the academic institution you attended does not issue documents in English, you must submit precise word for word translations of all your credentials. To have your documents translated, you may contact University Language Services (ULS) by using the link below.
High school graduates only, please submit your original high school transcript to WES for document-by-document evaluation.
University students, please submit university original transcripts to WES for a course-by-course evaluation, in addition to the high school transcripts. Additional high school documents may be required. Acceptance of transfer courses is subject to approval by NWF State College.
