Pass a course AND pass an assessment
2022-2023
Students entering the Florida College System (FCS) under 2022-2023 catalog year
Associate in Science (A.S)
Pass a course AND pass an assessment
Civic Literacy Competency as outlined in Florida statute 1007.25

Students also have the option to take the American Government CLEP exam to obtain the American Government course credit. Information on how to register for CLEP exams is located here under credit by exam. Free test prep courses for the CLEP can be found here.
