What are the protocols for entry onto NWFSC campus locations? (updated: 08/13/2020)

Northwest Florida State College is open with access to students and for pre-approved public events.

Temperature checks will be conducted prior to entering all campus/center locations. Those with a temperature of 100 degrees or more will be asked to return home and not revisit campus until being fever-free for 24 hours with no medication.

All employees, students, and visitors are required to wear a mask or face covering that covers the nose and mouth while on college property. (Please note that face shields do not meet this standard.) The following safety measures upon entry at each campus/center location:

Niceville campus: Temperature and mask checks will be conducted prior to entering the Niceville campus. A college or government ID must be presented at the time of entry. Masks will be provided if the individual does not have one.

Fort Walton Beach campus: Temperature and mask checks will be conducted via a kiosk prior to entering the Fort Walton Beach campus. A college or government ID must be presented at the time of entry. Masks will be provided if the individual does not have one.

Chautauqua Center, Robert L.F. Sikes Center, and South Walton Center:  All visitors (employees, students, etc.) are required to check-in at the administrative office for each center.  Check-in requires a college or government ID as well as a temperature check via a kiosk system.

Hurlburt Field Center: Visitors to the Hurlburt Field Center will be required to follow the Education Services Center guidelines.

NWFSC personnel will have masks available if you do not have one.
